Spanish Graphic Organizers
This site provided a link to a variety of basic graphic organizers in Spanish. I know that as a teacher it is very hard to find these templates and that a few years ago I spent hours trying to create a Venn Diagram on my own! This has a great variety and I know that there are many teachers out there that have students who speak Spanish at home. What a great way to help guide students who struggle most in reading and writing in English with giving them the foundation to take notes in a familiar method.
I know that I also have many coworker who also struggle to give basic directions to the students in their class who speak little to know English. This would be a great way to get the students past the directions and to the content that is being learned.

Proverbs a Fun Way to Learn
Proverbs a Fun Way to Learn
I read this article and today and it made me think about the things that universally we all have in common. At the middle school I teach at each year we have a Diversity Day. One of the activities that I helped develop for this day was taking proverbs from other countries and comparing them to their United States equivalents. I think that I could use these proverbs with a high level class to practice reading and problem solving skills.
If you know some Spanish, I encourage you to challenge yourself and try them out!
